Physical Therapy for 1 year old Kyra involved a lot of walking, crawling, and weighbearing. Our sole purpose was to make her walk and she took her first independent steps at 16 months old.

Working hips and spine

We are working on Core, weight bearing, stability, balance.

Looks like such a simple activity, but oh so essential for crawling and walking independently.

Learning to walk on homemade parallel bar

Kyra needed more help to walk independently and therapist said that she would be benefited from a parallel bar. They are very costly to buy so we built one, with PVC pipes.

Crawling down the Stair

Making crawling a bit more challenging, this is a great PT for kids and also very essential to move both limbs simultaneously.

Walking with posture control

Learning to walk independently with help of a walk aid. Walking strengthens the legs and builds muscles. The more the practice the better the control

Crawling up the Stair
